Yesterday Was a Great Day!

I love spending time with loved ones and friends.  Yesterday I was able to partake in both.  After a morning of lazy reading on the couch, Brooke and her Mom returned from getting their hair done with some lunch time goodness. (my wife’s new shorter then before style is hot)  Sandy left us to our naps so that we could return to her house for my long awaited Birthday Dinner.  It was nice to have some Mother style home cooking.  Meatloaf, Mac and Cheese with baked beans.  It was very tasty.  We hung out watching 1 v. 100.  Our great friend Noel called while we were hanging and asked if she could crash at our place on her way from Macon, GA to south Florida.  We were excited to have some company.  Noel bet us to our house by a few minutes and we were able to hang out and enjoy her company for the next few hours.  Brooke and I were still wide awake thanks to our naps and read next to each other in bed until 3 in the morning!  That is just a nice relaxing day right there.  I love my wife, my family and my friends!  Thanks God!
